One of the fundamental pillars of HYAcorp is education. There is no doubt that building a foundation combining knowledge and experience is one of the most critical ingredients for continued success and growth in the Aesthetics Industry.
The availability of unlimited digital information, (some accurate, some not so accurate) in the form of articles, posts, fake news, and social media, cultivates the belief that we know everything about a certain topic when in reality, there is probably more missing information that we need to be aware of.
According to ISAPS Global Survey, the number of nonsurgical procedures experienced an increase of 22.7% during 2016-2020 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 14.08% during 2020-2028 according to ResearchAndMarkets.com’s data.
Hyaluronic acid fillers cover 20.2% of the total increase due to the growing awareness about the benefits of nonsurgical and minimally invasive procedures (predictable results, low-risk complications, cost-effective and minimal downtime), the availability of innovative and safer products, and the increasing demand for aesthetic treatments among men.
Besides facial, body fillers are also becoming a significantly growing trend, especially among people who do not have fat to transfer and/or prefer nonsurgical or minimally invasive procedures to achieve their desired body shape.
For body procedures, there is a deeper lack of knowledge and experience compared to facial procedures, to ensure the expected results and avoid possible complications.
Anatomical principles, injection techniques, individual skin differences, as well as the proper knowledge of the rheology and performance of products and their limitation of use are the essential keys to achieving more predictable results and preventing complications.
Along with the evolution of non-invasive procedures, new technologies and trends have been rapidly emerging, making these procedures such as Hyaluronic acid fillers very accessible to the population.
At HYAcorp we want to ensure that these minimally invasive procedures are carried out by qualified professionals that are carefully trained in the field with the appropriate techniques and sterilization protocols.
When using Hyaluronic Acid fillers for the Face and Body in a patient, there are lots of factors that can have a big impact on the results of the treatment: Injection technique, pre, and post-care instructions, patient’s skin type, metabolism, and the list goes on.
Spreading awareness and knowledge regarding the use of hyaluronic acid fillers as well as the possible adverse effects is fundamental so the professional is capable of making a decision or reacting accordingly to the patient’s need.
Through webinars, we offer plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and aesthetic practitioners top-quality educational content to improve their practice and get inspired through interactive discussions.
With the mission to provide medically enriched education and training to professionals from all around the world, Bioscience GmbH, the German company leader in the production of high-quality facial and body fillers, launched its Global Academy Program by successfully holding its first event on the 25th February 2022.
This event consisted of highly educational content specifically for plastic surgeons and dermatologists with detailed and relevant information regarding techniques, the anatomy of the areas to be treated, and the understanding of the basic properties of the Bioscience’s wide product range with a special focus on body indications.
The training was led by the head of Bioscience's medical board, Dr. Piero Crabai, an Italian surgeon with extensive 20-year expertise in dermal fillers, who provided hands-on training on the procedures and an introduction to safety guidelines.
The Medical Training is designed for small groups so that the participants, in addition to the extensive theoretical and practical knowledge, can get involved closely and be able to acquire the necessary skills to perform the right and safe techniques for a range of body and facial procedures of excellence and quality.
For this first edition of the Bioscience Global Academy, Dr. Crabai successfully performed various live demonstrations using Bioscience’s products: starting with Buttocks augmentation with Hip dip correction, followed by Jawline and Chin shaping, and finishing with Hands rejuvenation, and calves augmentation/contouring.
The event was concluded with an unmissable insightful lecture about the possible adverse reactions of Hyaluronic Acid Fillers and the relative recommended protocol provided by Dr. Crabai.
Due to its success and high rate of satisfaction, Bioscience Global Academy has now been established as a continuous educational program and will be extended soon as a “train the trainer” local event in many countries to develop a professional network of certified practitioners around the world and increase the awareness about the benefits of good clinical practice for non-surgical HA filler procedures.
We will be hosting more editions for the Global Academy in the near future, so if you are a qualified professional or know somebody who might be interested in learning about HYAcorp hyaluronic acid fillers, you can send us your resume to BGA@biosciencegmbh.com
